Campagne for Implants in HandsurgeryIn the two decades of our activity we have had many opportunities to work out some unique concepts for marketing communication in print – and web media. Here‘s how we started for Dow Corning European Healthcare center in Sophia Antipolis.

The company is the Pioneer of Silicon and had developed brillant implants for hand-surgery together with the famous American surgeon Professor Alfred Swanson from Michigan.

Dow  Corning's advertising and print material for European markets at the time before the change, did  not reflect the quality of the products, nor the positioning as the outstanding  leader, which they were  in this niche! Hand-surgery is a differentiated and demanding discipline which requires high level surgical skills.
We received  the order and chance for creating a new style to turn this around which you may obtain from  the  design of the brochures and the photography put in place. ( See below)

Implants as Objects of ArtUnder our supervision a top still-life photographer took images of the  implants making  them look like jewlery, aesthetic and attractive to look at. The response from the surgeons  was unique and the product-line caught new attention at a world-congress for hand-surgery in Paris where the campagne had been launched.

Dow  Corning  Corporation has left the medical device market and sold the implant- business to Wright Medical in Arlington, Tennessee. The famous Swanson Implants are still available for hand-surgery.
